1. Who we are

WiserPrompts ("we", "us", "our") is a browser extension distributed through the Chrome Web Store. Our core purpose is to provide a prompt template library that helps users get better results from AI chat tools.

2. What data we collect

WiserPrompts collects no personal data. Specifically:

• We do not read your conversations. The extension never accesses, reads, stores, or transmits any AI conversation content.
• We do not collect your browsing history. We do not track which websites you visit.
• We do not collect personal identifiers. No name, email address, IP address, or device ID is ever sent to us.
• Your saved prompts stay on your device. Any prompts you save are stored locally in Chrome's extension storage and never leave your browser.

3. Permissions we request

The extension requests only the minimum permissions required to function:

• storage — to save your custom prompts locally in your browser.
• activeTab / scripting — to inject the sidebar UI and insert selected prompts into the chat input field of supported AI sites.

These permissions are not used for any tracking, analytics, or data collection purpose.

4. Third-party services

WiserPrompts does not integrate with or send data to any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-broker services. No data is ever sold, rented, or shared with any third party.

5. Children's privacy

WiserPrompts is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data practices in a meaningful way, we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify users via the Chrome Web Store listing or in-extension notice.
